The Shakespeare Express
Birmingham and Tyseley to Stratford upon Avon

The Shakespeare Express departs from Birmingham Snow Hill calling at Birmingham Moor Street and Tyseley mainline station then heading along the Shakespeare line through the rolling Warwickshire countryside to Stratford upon Avon. Over five hours are available to explore this historic town before rejoining the train for the return journey.
Joining arrangements
Join the train at Birmingham Snow Hill or Tyseley Mainline Station (limited pre-booked free car parking available at Tyseley Locomotive Works, avoiding Birmingham’s congestion charge). You may leave the train on the return at either Tyseley of Birmingham Snow Hill Street station.
Dining
Dining is available in our original Pullman Cars with full English Breakfast on the outward journey and afternoon tea, tea & Coffee, on the return journey all served at your seat.
Seating Arrangements
Seating is available in our Pullman Cars and and Open Coaches. You will be seated at tables of two or four in your selected Coach according to your booking. Tables of two can be booked in Pullman Class for a supplement of £10 per person subject to availability.
Bookings of upto four people will be seated at the same table. Bookings of more than four people will be seated at adjacent tables.
Boarding Card
A boarding card confirming your booking details and allocated coach will be emailed to you upon completion of your booking. Please print this boarding card to access the train. Separate tickets are not issued.

Pullman Class
- Seating in one of our original Pullman Cars with full English Breakfast on the outward journey and afternoon tea, tea & Coffee, on the return journey all served at your seat. Guaranteed tables of two can be booked for a supplement of £10 per person, subject to availability.
Tourist Class
- Seating at tables for two or four in our Tourist Open carriages. Bacon rolls, light refreshments, wine, beer, teas & coffees can be ordered for delivery to your seat.
Tourist Class Family
- Limited Availability Family Ticket for two adults and two children (Children 5 – 16 Years) seating at tables for four in our Tourist Open carriages. Bacon rolls, light refreshments, can be ordered for delivery to your seat.
