Starting from Dorridge our Castle class locomotive offers a very special day out as we wind our way through the rolling hills of the English and Welsh countryside. Following the Welsh Marches route and through Birmingham and Wovlerhampton to Shrewsbury, picking up at Telford and then head onto Craven Arms and past Stokesday Castle, picking up at Ludlow and pausing at Hereford for passengers to disembark to visit the city and the cathedral for Mappa Mundi. We then climb the Llanvihangel bank and crossing the Welsh border towards the historic city of Cardiff bustling with exciting new events and attractions suitable for all ages and budgets. We will return retracing the outward journey.
