Join us this Summer onboard The Shakespeare Express for an exciting day out for the whole family.
The journey takes you from the heart of Birmingham, through the pretty Warwickshire countryside, to the historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon. The train runs at express speeds either along the Shakespeare Line, with several stations retaining their original Great Western Railway features, or the Chiltern mainline alongside trains to and from London.
At Stratford-upon-Avon, you will have approximately 4 and a half hours to explore. Whether you want to have a spot of lunch next to the river, do a bit of shopping or dive into the history of William Shakespeare’s birthplace, there is plenty to see and do before you re-join the train for your journey home.
Celebrating a Birthday, Anniversary or just looking to make your day extra special? Why not travel in Pullman, where you will be served a Full English Breakfast on the outward journey and a delicious Afternoon Tea on the return, all at your seat.
