THE CHRISTMAS WHITE ROSE TO YORK

Join us next December for a festive steam-hauled train journey, travelling through the East Midlands to the historic city of York.

Visit the medieval city’s award-winning Christmas Markets, explore the narrow, cobbled streets or marvel at the wonderful Minster, a beautiful Gothic Cathedral in the heart of the city.

Alternatively, explore more of the city’s heritage and history, where there is evidence of Roman, Viking and Medieval history within the 13th-century walls. And with attractions including the Jorvik Centre or the superb National Railway Museum, there is plenty to see and do for everyone.

This train will be steam hauled throughout by one of our resident Castle Class locomotives.

Guaranteed tables of two can be booked for a supplement of £30 per person, subject to availability.	Relax in our authentic 1960s coaches where Bacon Rolls & pastries for Breakfast and Festive Afternoon Tea on the return journey are included. Guaranteed tables of two can be booked for a supplement of £20 per person, subject to availability.	Comfortable seating at tables of four with picture windows. A buffet offers hot drinks, soft drinks, light refreshments and alcoholic drinks for purchase. Bacon Rolls and Afternoon Tea in a box can be pre-ordered to enjoy on your journey.

When you book a table for two, you’ll be seated as a pair with no other passengers at your table, even if placed at a table for four.
