Description
Castles on the Lickey incline area rare sight so twice on the same day with two different members of the class is rare indeed! Two identical trains will start at Tyseley Locomotive Works and pick up at Birmingham Snow Hill for a fast run to Worcester. Here the train will turn before we head for Bromsgrove where 9466 will join the train, authentically banking us up the 1 in 37 incline to Blackwell. The 94XX class became the banking engines when the Lickey was transferred to the Western Region in 1958. We return to Tyseley via Birmingham New Street, another rare steam location.
